Dear Parents and Scouts

A happy new year and a belated merry Christmas to you all.

We’re aiming to send out a monthly newsletter every month, so that the parents are better informed, with regard to the activities we are undertaking. With that in mind, here are some of the photos and videos from the 2012 Winterhoek Troop Expedition.

Our primary objective on this hike was to expose our Scouts to some solid hiking, team work and Scouting companionship.
Also, we wanted to provide an opportunity to really experience the outdoors and to show them what Scouts is all about.

We’ll try do something similar next year December again. Between now and then, activities will primarily focus on provincial competitions, which provide quite a lot of interesting challenges. Weekly meetings will therefore focus on preparation for the upcoming activates as well as personal advancement.

See you all soon!

Yours in Scouting
Tarl

P.S. I was going to add text to each photo, but I think it'll be more fun if you ask the Scouts for a tour...  ;)
